To break the power limit of the siphon alcohol burner. We placed 20 heat storage blocks in the burner.

This burner fits perfectly in any mug or pot. The wind screen is very effective, and the flame is focused well, which is ideal for quick-boiling water. In fact, it is too hot for simmering or cooking on a pan unless you use a different wind screen or stand. But it is perfect for boiling water quickly.

Love the stove but wish I knew simmer setup was an option before checking out. Now with huge shipping cost to US I can"t justify buying it so will have to revert to Trangia spirit burner to slow cook items...
